I’ve often had a desire to document parts of my life–a desire born partly out of some inexplicable instinct and partly out of a fear of losing memories. Near the end of my senior year of high school, I realized that most of the photographs in my phone’s camera roll were of moments that diverged from my day-to-day routine. In other words, I chose to document moments almost only when they involved a change that I deemed noteworthy. A couple months before graduation, I decided to instead photograph everyday routines–ordinary moments that I would never see again in quite the same way. These are photos of my friends, on a borrowed film camera, in our last formal year as kids. ♦
