Cyndi Lauper needs no introduction. The singer-songwriter has brought iconic songs with serious staying power into our lives (“Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” “Time After Time,” and “True Colors,” to name a few). Beyond music, her True Colors Fund has been dedicated to ending homelessness among LGBTQ youth for more than ten years. The superstar has also been busy on Broadway, composing music for the upcoming adaptation of Working Girl, and getting co-nominated for a Tony for “Hero Is My Middle Name,” her contribution to “SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical.” You can see her live this summer on her North American tour with Rod Stewart. We are thrilled she took the time to answer your questions on feeling down and out about dating, the evolution of friendships, loneliness, and more.
Take it away, Cyndi!
