Last night my friend Aiden took me to a beautiful rooftop in the a part of San Francisco that I honestly can’t remember the name of. He talked about the city, his city, with such love it almost made me miss Los Angeles. I know what it’s like to love a city with all your heart. I understood what he meant when he said “Every inch of this city is beautiful, even the ‘sus’ parts.”

We’ve done a lot of things so far and from what I’ve seen I agree. One thing I have noticed is that this city sleeps and the one I’m from does not. It’s easy for us to find somewhere to have fun in L.A. Maybe it’s because we know where to look.

I’m having fun nonetheless. I’m on a bus right now with my friends and we take up the entire back row. My brother called me when we first got on and told me he missed me. I miss him too.
I thought I’d be able to sit down and write endless pages about all the fun things we’ve done but I can’t bring myself to. I haven’t even really taken many pictures. These experiences feel very personal. Intimate moments that I don’t want to share. They’re all mine. ♦
