On the heels of Hulu’s adaptation of The Handmaid’s Tale starring Elisabeth Moss, ELLE talked to 12 authors about the influence of Margaret Atwood’s dystopian novel.

Over the weekend at Coachella, Solange talked to the Museum of Metropolitan Art’s Kimberly Drew about creativity, style, and writing A Seat at the Table. I particularly loved this piece of advice she shared about trying new things: “One of the things I’m most proud of in myself is that I’m okay to fail in front of the world; I’m okay to make mistakes and get back up and try again. You have to have that attitude when you want to experiment with different mediums.”
