omg this is so good gabby!!! it’s everything i’ve been thinking about the term “personal brand”.. it’s just so commodifying.. and when there is nicer ways of complimenting people it feels like a no-brainer!

Awesome video Gabby (as always)! Just wondering, what are your thoughts on posting creative work online using your real name vs. using a “nom de plume”? Like, I’m 25, so there’s its possibly a different situation compared with people in high school (or maybe not, I don’t want to generalize) but I’m really concerned about using my real name and receiving backlash for stuff (or worse things, as often happens with feminist work or even just personal work), but at the same time I want to develop a professional portfolio, and I feel like it’s best to use my actual name for that (in order to get credit/claim it as my own). I can’t make up my mind about it. There’s so much pressure to have a strong online presence, especially for young writers and artists. But I don’t know what I want that presence to be.

I am SOO excited that this is finally up! My friend and I are HUGE FANS of Noone Cares and were overjoyed when we saw this new one! This was also such a perfect video for me right now because I am bending over backwards trying to create an image for myself and not wanting to, and now I know I don’t need to. So THANK YOU! And I do have a question for you (and i am trying to incorporate the June theme :P) How can you be content with having to stay indoors, or not do very exciting things in the summer when you have high expectations of summer adventures and fun plans? Just curious, because I always set a high standard for what I want my summer to be like, and then it usually doesn’t work out and I feel “robbed”. You’re the advice master, so I thought I’d come to you <3
