Kelly Abeln says she was inspired by two things as she drew this set of coloring pages: paint by number kits, and mountain ranges like the “rainbow mountains” in China’s Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park.

“I think the expansive landscapes will be soothing and meditative to color in: picture yourself in a valley surrounded by big mountains,” she says. Very cool, max chill; we are really into this, especially for the weekend.
