Hello, friends! Lately, I’ve been stressing out a bit in college. Academics and extracurriculars keep me VERY busy. At the same time, I’m trying to maintain the friendships I’ve been making and developing over these past few weeks. But it is SO HARD! I’m afraid that when I’m focusing so much on my work, I’ll forget to be a “good” person—a considerate, loyal, there-for-you-when-you-need-me friend. So today, I’m asking myself questions such as:
- Am I self-absorbed for wanting to dedicate a lot of my time to my work?
- Is it possible to be a considerate person all of the time?
- How do I make sure I don’t annoy people by accident?
- Are people going to talk about me when I mess up?
