libra1.jpgJanelle’s horoscope: Little socialite, Libra! Always out and about making new friends to partner with, Febraury has a very different vibe than your usual social butterfly ways. The first half of the month has you wanting to stay closer to home than usual. Mercury, Venus, and Pluto are all cozying up on the sofa looking to veg out with the family. If there’s something on your chest that you need to express at home, now is the perfect time to do so. You’ll find an elegant yet powerful way to say what’s on your mind.

The new moon will activate more interest in going out to have a good time, when it lands in your fifth house of love, play, and creativity. Consider taking up a new hobby, going out on a few adventures, or picking up the paint set that’s been collecting dust for months. The more creative activities you engage in, the more it feeds your self-confidence and vice versa. Mars residing in your second house of money and self-worth will have you aggressively defending your right to acquire new things, or being more forceful about building your self-esteem. Act in ways that make you feel self-assured and carefree.

The Virgo full moon lands in your 12th house of dreams on the 22nd, which may find you feeling more tired than usual. Be sure to pay attention to your dreams, they can provide insight into ways to build your self-esteem and your creativity. Take time to retreat, daydream, and get extra rest, your physical health could take a beating if overtaxed by too many late nights.

Dylan’s advice: This month’s contrasting homebody and going-out vibes may have you stoked or burnt out. Either way, a wise thing to do would be to find your chill at home. Have as much fun as you can this month, but, at the same time, you don’t need to push it if your energy wanes. For those calmer days, pick up a project you can work on all month, so that when you want to kick back, you can keep up your active momentum while building your confidence in a practice or project. Tactile types might take on a dressmaking project, or learn how to crotchet and double-time it by simultaneously streaming a new TV show. If you play an instrument, this might be a good time to try to tackle a particular composer’s song book or band’s catalog of tabs. For those, like me, who like to dabble with power tools…build a table! Do something a little new, a little challenging, that you can pick up and accomplish bit by bit throughout February.
