Janelle’s horoscope: Little fishes, 2016 is a year of growth for you. The universe wants you to show what you’re made of. Dreams are beautiful things, but they’re even better when you take action to bring them down to earth. 2016 is a good year to show that you can have your head in the clouds, but also keep your feet on the ground.

The first half of February will have you paying a lot more attention to your wishes and goals, as well as who you have around you to help make them come true. Pluto, Venus, and Mercury are all hanging out chatting about powerful ways to manifest some magic. Uranus down in your second house, of money and values, is asking whether or not what you’re wishing for lines up with your sense of self worth. Do you believe that you can have what you wish for, Pisces? Or do you stay dreaming out of fear?

The new moon on the 8th will draw tons of new energy into your 12th house of dreams—this is your natural domain. Know that anything that you dream of can come true. Keep a dream journal, doodle, color, and play: Keep your intuitive mind open to receive mind-expanding information before your solar return on the 19th. Mars is setting up shop in your ninth house of expansion—the drive to broaden your horizons whether by train, bus, or library card will be strong this year. Break out of any thought patterns and beliefs that are just old and dusty. Read up on things that you’ve always wanted to but never had the chance to. If you’re able, plan a trip or two to someplace you’ve never been before.

With your birthday season comes the full moon to your opposite sign Virgo. The sun will be shining bright on you with Neptune in tow to cast a dash of whimsy and romance onto your image. Glam it up, transform into the vision of your best self for your birthday, but don’t get so lost in wonderland that you can’t remember who you are. The Full Moon will put emphasis on who partners with you: Pay attention to who shows up on and around the full moon, they play an important role in how you expand this year.

Our subconscious is a wild and free and absolutely infinite, inexplicable thing. These archetypes are like filters you can look through to explain something about yourself to yourself.
