Give your brows the ol' razzle-dazzle.

Give your brows the ol’ razzle-dazzle.

Is there anything more festive than eyebrows that are all dressed up and ready to party? Here’s a quick thang on how to give yourself some glittery jingle brows for December 2k15!

What you’ll need:

  • Vaseline or a similar multipurpose balm (I used Glossier’s Balm Dotcom.)
  • Q-tips
  • Glitter
  • Optional: A brow brush or spoolie

How to do it:

Step One

Begin by squeezing a dab of balm onto a fingertip. As with most things in life (excluding tea and Lip Smackers), you’ll want to start with just a little bit. Add more later, if need be. Swipe the balm across your eyebrows, starting from each inner eye and ending at the outer eye. This will help shape your brows. If they’re really wild, you can use a spoolie or brow brush to get ’em in line—or, if you are super #grunge #diy #hipster like moi, put one of those mini braces brushes to good use!

In any case, remember: brush upward and then outward, toward the edge of your face!

Step Two

These babies are ready for the main course…GLITTER! To start, take a Q-tip and use it to gently swipe some excess balm from one of your brows. Dip the balmy Q-tip in the glitter and wipe it across your brow the same way you applied the balm. Do this for both eyebrows. For me, one coat of glitter on each brow was enough; however, it’s user’s discretion!

That’s all, folks! Don’t I look merry?

Jingle brows can stand on their own, or with minimal to maximal makeup. What’s more, they give the illusion of fuller brows—a winter miracle! And after the party is over, jingle brows come right off with a makeup wipe or washcloth and warm, soapy water. ♦
