Aquarius

aquarius1The issue you might be working on, Aquarius, especially during the first couple of weeks of this month, is on a practical tip. It could be homework, finals, or something to do with publishing. Watch out for a dispute or conflict arising between you and someone you’re learning from. If that’s not relevant to you, you might find that your philosophy or outlook on life is challenged. If you’ve felt a little shaky in how you see the world, maybe you need some grounding in reality, and that could be take place this month.

The new moon on the 11th occurs in your 11th house of groups and friends. If there’s something you’ve been wanting to start, this is a good time to start it! However, since Saturn is co-present with the moon, it might take a little more effort to get going than you’d like. Just be aware of how you are showing up for the group that you’re involved with. Look at your boundaries with friends, associates, and clubs. Could you take on more responsibility in your particular group? This month, there’s a sense that Aquarians need to take on roles that helps them mature. That could be challenging for you, but you know you need to do it, and this is a good time to begin.

The full moon on December 25th is in your 6th house of work and projects, as well as health and your wellbeing. A piece of work could be due at this time, or you need to work over the holidays. But the full moon can also help you appreciate and take care of your body, to see it as a good friend and approach it kindly and nourishingly. You’re not a machine!

Dylan’s advice: Start a club. It doesn’t have to be super official, it could be a reading club, or a Tumblr meetup, or a Facebook group that gathers allies around an issue you care about. You’re being called to step up and back up your ideals, so the research, camaraderie, and collaboration that a group affords can help you ground yourself. When your convictions begin to feel shaky or you feel your ideals wavering, it’s crucial to have a group around you. You can ask them questions, and feel like you’re evolving with others rather than stagnating in a vacuum of your own thoughts.

Start on the new moon. Build a loose mission statement, and put steady effort into it. Have a little patience, with others and yourself, and you will feel yourself rise to the occasion. In that rising, you’ll learn and mature, too. If you’ve already begun, set a meeting for the 11th. If you’re just getting started, send out those first recruiting emails and Facebook posts on the 11th.
