Scorpio

scorpio1Jessica’s horoscope: With the new moon on the 11th in your first house, don’t stuff or starve your emotions. Get clear about what you want to invite in, and make sure your body is your buddy. Your body is an innocent thing that you are in charge of protecting! Feed it well, rest it well, be generous but not indulgent. Do what you need to do to feel good in your corporeal home. There’s lots of activity in the personal corner of your chart, so it’s an opportunity to focus on self-betterment, reflection, and friendship with people you trust and like letting in. Conserve your money for the stuff you care about, especially come holiday time, because from the 21st onward, you might (thanks to Mercury in Sagittarius) find yourself spending without forethought, then feeling trapped, like you don’t have enough. Bring more intention (and fewer feels) to how you spend your resources. By the 13th, your 12th house will be busy with Mars and Venus, so it’s an invitation to be creative and to spend some QT alone. This could also be a really good time for a cutie…that is to say, to deepen your intimate relationships. This month, Scorpio’s energy is intense, but you can greet that intensity: really be kind to yourself, and align yourself with people who are kind back. That’s decision-making that supports you in having a happy life—not just a happy month.

Dylan’s advice: In the midst of this month’s emotional energy (which could be a really cool thing!), let’s do something practical and boring and grounding. This, my guy, is called budgeting. Once you wrangle your resources, you will be able to go deep into the emotional tides of November without fear that you’ll make a feelings-based splurge that you’ll regret later— which seems like a danger this month, particularly around the 21st. If you’re working with an allowance or part-time income from your after-school job, maybe think about putting some of it aside, like in a savings account? If you have a lingering feeling that you don’t know where your money goes, keep a list through November of everything you spend money on, or sign up for an app like Mint to do that for you, rather than shooting from the hip and guesstimating. Using that data, make a budget for December. And if you’re looking for more guidance, peep this cheat sheet of budgeting apps and tricks by Arabelle Sicardi.
