Gemini

gemini1Stefanie’s horoscope: The last couple of months for Geminis have likely been about communication: saying what you mean, meaning what you say, being heard, and listening. A lesson you might have learned during the Venus retrograde was to not get caught up in drama, and to be as good at listening as you are at talking. Venus will be moving into the home zone, so you will be applying these lessons to your closest relationships—family, parents, and your best friends. You’ll be thinking about your roots, and where you come from. If you’ve been having issues with your family, especially arguments, Venus may help smooth things over this month. It might even make you feel a little cozier. Mercury goes direct on October 9, which could bring clarity to the romance and creativity arenas, and a couple days later, on the 12th, the new moon is in the same part of your chart—use it to your advantage to set goals for romance and creativity. The Sun goes into Gemini’s work zone on the 23rd: Focus on getting everyday tasks done, and working out minute details. (This gives you an edge in being an even better get-it-done-er, because Geminis already are talented multitaskers!) The full moon will be in your house of dreams, which could either make you a complete insomniac OR lull you into a major sleep. Either way, your dreams are likely to be really vivid and cool, so keep a journal nearby.

Dylan’s advice: Venus’s presence in your home sector is giving you an opportunity to ditch passive-aggressive Post-It note–style communication with family members or roommates. Instead, try to approach them directly (and gently) about anything that may be nagging you. Lay your reactiveness to rest in regard to your parents or siblings, and take a deep breath before blowing up (even if it’s the –nth time that you asked them to do this thing, and it’s so annoying, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera). It’ll make your domestic realm more comfortable and cozy and welcoming to be in for everybody, which is kind of peak for fall, don’t you think?
