Adventures in Rooksall

My friend I say
I am having the most marvelous time away
Rooksall is like Earth but much better,
Nicer and you never need a sweater

As the rocket soared
We all were floored,
Amazed, awed, by the darkness
And the stars brightness

The sun the moon
Big like a balloon
The earth so small,
As we hurtle toward Rooksall

The Rookies who live there
Take the shape of bears
So kind and bright,
Rad and full of delight

The land filled with lakes and rivers
Palm trees and flowers in all colors
The scent is always vanilla
Everywhere I turn I see fun-loving chinchillas

Dear friend come stay,
With me by the bay
As I am never coming home
So please mail me my lawn gnome.
