A pretty diverse set of artists have tastefully borrowed vocals from the world’s most emotive, tender singers across the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. As an added bonus, sometimes the contemporary and veteran artists work together to create something new, as with Carly Simon’s appearance on Janet Jackson’s “Son of a Gun” which samples Carly Simon’s song “You’re So Vain” and features Simon’s spoken word. I WISH that song was about me.
