Us (Sasha and Theo) before a show. We inadvertently matched, per usual.
Earlier this summer, Sasha Spielberg and Theo Spielberg, the sister/brother duo behind the band Wardell, took photos of adventures they had around the U.S. while they were on tour. Here are some of the snaps they brought back (collaged by Hunter!).
This was in Missoula, Montana. It was probably the best show. Greatest crowd, and they don’t lie: It is a VERY big sky.
This was our last show with Ryan Adams, in Salt Lake City, Utah at Red Butte Garden. It felt like playing to a backdrop—it didn’t feel real. We were very sad to leave.
This was the best introduction to Idaho Falls, Idaho. We got three different pancakes, to try each one. Regular buttermilk won. And always wins. It was a feast to remember.
We all need to decompress sometimes. If it happens to work beautifully against matching seats, then that’s just luck.
We were just about to head home for good when the box of CDs fell out of the van. It took five people to put them back into the box. It also took five people to console Sasha.
