Simone,

I’ve been thinking about this idea for a while (how paying attention might have something to do with love), and I have to disagree with you. Don’t you think that paying attention, or let me put it another way– noticing– is the ultimate form of love? Haven’t you felt like your best friends are the ones who really see you? Who really pay attention to who you are? I would argue that this kind of paying attention is different from the consumption of YT videos. As a writer, you must know that observation is key to inspiration. Really seeing somebody outside of yourself for who they are is a beautiful thing.
