hey Fatma! I wanted to let you know that anxiety is real, and I feel you girl. I’ve just ended my A levels in Singapore (basically its a very major exam and highly stressful because there’s a lot of pressure to do well in this Asian and highly meritocratic society) and I totes get you when you mean anxious. I feel like I’ve been anxious for the whole year and it’s been really bad because it tries to swallow you whole sometimes. I get especially anxious when I’m playing the piano or performing for people; I’m a music student. There was once I was so anxious and I made a lot of slips and mistakes when I was playing. It was not a great performance and I felt quite upset after that…but it’s ok! Maybe your anxiety is more severe than mine, but it’s ok girl. You are strong and you can get through this. I’m a stranger to you, but I know you are very loved. I’m still learning how to conquer anxiety, and I feel like it’s always a battle. It’s funny. I never really battle anxiety alone because I know I can’t do it. but I believe in Jesus and I always call upon His name when I’m anxious, and He really helps me. I’m not trying to impose on you my beliefs and I’m not trying to tell you how you should conquer anxiety bit by bit…but what I’m really trying to say is that you’re not alone when it comes to facing anxiety. Rest, give yourself a break sometimes, because it’s ok and you shouldn’t feel guilty about it because your cells and brain cells need to rest. Also I take a lot of photos of people and things when I feel stressed, and I do blogilates to release endorphins. You are a gem
