Sometimes, because of our interests, we can feel like we were born in the wrong decade. Like Enid Coleslaw, grooving to a song from a 1960s Hindi film, we, too, find solace and comfort in cultural reminders of time gone by. Or like Colleen Moore, who built a fairy castle to fulfill her childhood fantasy. We sometimes yearn to transport ourselves to another world, study magic at Hogwarts, or find a cupboard that leads to Narnia. 

In a recent episode of Black Mirror, titled “San Junipero,” we got a glimpse of what it would be like if we could choose an era to live in. For this Creative Prompt, write, illustrate, make a collage, or use another medium to imagine yourself living, or maybe just vacationing, in another time that you feel you belong to.
