ALYSON ZETTA: Do you or did you used to have a signature scent?

VALERIE: My signature scent used to be Dot by Marc Jacobs, with the really cool ladybug bottle, but I ran out of it, and I never got to repurchase it.

What drew you to it?

Honestly, I really liked the bottles. But when I smelled it, it was very fruity and fresh, and that’s why I liked it.

Do you have a smell that you associate with your older sister?

I would say Wonderstruck, by Taylor Swift, which I think she used to wear a lot. Kind of fresh, young, fruity. That’s what I associate with her.

What about your mom or your grandma, do you have any scent associated with them?

With my grandma, I associate Chanel No. 5…she still wears it.
