Terence Crutcher and Keith Lamont Scott were killed, respectively, by police in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Charlotte, North Carolina. Their deaths add to the dozens of police-involved shootings of black people in the United States over the past year. Protests continue to happen in Tulsa and Charlotte in response to their deaths.

On Tuesday, it was announced that the Baltimore County police officers involved in the death of Korryn Gaines will not face criminal charges. In response, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund requested a review of Baltimore County police practices.
