Les Avanlanches

Your cheeks are painted
A vast sea of stars
The moon nests softly on the left side
Of your mouth
A sheepish smile for the envious sun
Who wishes only to cover you in rays of light
But you are already overtaken
By the dark night

Planets dance on the top of your head
They spin into the curls of your hair
The roots
The tips covered black

The universe pulses through your veins
You are its endless sea of darkness
And the glowing of faraway places
You are the what ifs and why nots
Of thoughts
The unknown
The lust
You are the universe
And I am a speck of dust.
