On the 4th Day

This little lite of mine
so audacious and dazzling,
no matter the mind of others
I’m gonna let it shine.

Made by the hands of God.
He who is omnipresent
so ev’ry where I go,
I’m gonna let it shine.

All in my home,
little and mean and with 7 different souls,
where my demons bore
and I had my first spiritual war at 6
I’m gonna let it shine.

Let it shine
let it shine
let it shine,

like the sun,
like the moon,
like the stars
when they were made on the 4th day.

This little lite of mine,
’til my lite get bigger,
’til my lite uplifts feeble minds,
’til my lite encourages disheartened spirits,
I’m gonna let it shine.

Ev’ry where I go,
’til I blind my dark side,
’til I don’t give into temptation no more,
’til I am uplifted,
I’m gonna let it shine.

All in my home,
’til I ain’t got no more demons,
’til I ain’t got no more wars to fight,
’til I can rest peacefully with no nightmares,
I’m gonna let it shine.

Let it shine
let it shine
let it shine.
