Indian gymnast Dipa Karmakar has qualified for the 2016 Olympics, which makes her the first Indian woman in the sport to do so. This is an incredible achievement, considering the lack of infrastructure and funding that prevails in women’s gymnastics in India, especially in Karmakar’s home state of Tripura.

NASA released this video of a giant “space bubble” to mark the Hubble Space Telescope’s 26th birthday. Generated from multiple images taken by the Hubble, the video captures the seven-light-years-wide bubble (actually a nebula) in startling detail. ♦
