Capricorn

capricorn1Jessica’s horoscope: That new moon on the 11th, in Scorpio, is prime time for reconnecting with old friends, and following up with someone you’ve been meaning to connect with. It’s a really good moment to start a new project, especially if it’s with a partner. From the 20th to the 22nd, Venus is in Libra, square to Pluto in Capricorn, and it’s gonna be a pain in your arse. People may be really intense with you, or they might be really intense around you, but don’t take everything personally. See if you can understand where they’re coming from, without invalidating your own perspective. If you’re feeling very black-and-white about something, be suspicious, because there are always more than two sides. If you find yourself in a power struggle, you may feel that the other person has more power than you. That may or may not be true, but this perception could put you on the defensive, so: chill, then take your time to respond. The end of November, on the 29th through December 1, there may be general malaise in your world, as your 12th house of the subconscious gets some action from a Saturn-and-sun conjunction. Pause to figure out what’s been bugging you under the surface, and take care of your subconscious and spiritual life. From the ninth and the 13th, when Venus and Mars make their move onward, prioritize connecting with people, your values, and your plans. Think about what you really want to get done, and how you intend to follow through. Wherever you need to go includes people, so don’t ignore them. Collaborate.

Dylan’s advice: Now is the time to set goals for your whole dang life. Not to be redundant in my tips here by pushing my GOAL-SETTING AGENDA on you, but I really love how the astrology for Capz from last month is flowing into this month’s astrology, and think it is a lovely opportunity to expand on what you started! Between the ninth and the 13th, take whatever goals you brought up last month, and think about what sort of life you want to have around those goals. For instance: If your October goal was to move to a new city once you graduate to get an internship, build on that. Think about the kind of community you want to create once you get to this new city. What values do you want to expand on in your life? What sort of domestic life do you want to build for yourself there—a big old house filled with friends, or a nice, private room somewhere for yourself? If your goal was shorter-term—like pushing yourself to sign up for debate or to get a weekend job—take the time between the ninth and 13th to zoom out on it, and think about what you really want to get from that experience. Will that debate team will help you get closer to a teacher you’d like to have as a mentor? Will the extra cash from your job every month equal the purchase of car in a year or two, leading to thrifting adventures that will facilitate the start your vintage store on Etsy, OR SOMETHING? Goals have LAYERS. (Layer up 4 fall!!! #fashion).
