leo1Stefanie’s horoscope: Venus was in retrograde in your sign over the last four months, which may have felt like a whirlwind—like a lot evolved and changed, or like things were weirdly on hold. Maybe you were reevaluating your selfhood, your ego, who you are in the world, and who you are in your relationships? When Venus goes direct on October 8, it moves into your house of money and stuff. It can really make you feel spend-y and shopping-addicted—but if that’s bad for your budget, the good news is that it can also bring windfalls: If someone owes you money, or you have a gig that will bring in some extra cash, bug whomever owes you about paying up. Mercury goes direct in your house of communication on October 9—if you’ve recently experienced mixed messages, dropped calls, or confused discussions, a new and relieving clarity may soon arrive. If there has been a major communication breakdown, the new moon on October 12 could help you set things straight. The sun goes into your house of home on the 23rd, which should bring cozy energy that will help you relax and enjoy your surroundings! The full moon on October 27 occurs in your 10th house (in astrology, there are two houses that are more job/duty related, and the 10th is your name-in-lights, what-I-wanna-be-when-I-grow-up career house). It’s a big deal for you! Be available, and be sure regularly check your email and phone for good news about your hugest ambitions.

Dylan’s advice: DIY time, son! If you’re feeling a little impulse-buy-happy this month, take it to a low-risk environment where you can let your grabby hands run free without fear of overdraft-ing your bank account. Instead of shopping for new stuff, go to your local thrift store, if you have one, and dig through the bins to find maxi skirts you can turn into minis, jean jackets you can cut into vests, oversized shirts you can turn into dresses, pieces you can tie-dye…there’s less risk when you’re buying old clothes for pennies on the dollar! Plus, with Venus’s money-and-stuff-beams shining down on you, you could be extra-lucky in executing DIYs (just remember: measure twice, cut once)!
