Dearest Pal,

You’ll never believe how amazing Granicia is! Right now, I’m writing to you from a huge hotel made completely out of water—yes, WATER! To be honest, I’m not really sure how this place hasn’t been blown away by a gust of air, but the environment works in different ways in Granicia. The sky isn’t blue like it is at home, but instead a constant green color. There is no sun or moon either, but instead, a constant dim red light that illuminates the sky. It took me a while to get used to looking up at a vomit-colored universe, but I’ve grown to love this planet and its weird surroundings. Then again, I would expect nothing less of a planet that is quite literally the opposite of what Earth is like. When I first arrived here, I dropped my bags off at the water hotel, and left to go exploring. I saw all kinds of things, including flying bicycles, plants that had faces on them, and talking animals. You’d think that animals would speak weirdly, but dogs are surprisingly just like humans when they speak, they just walk on four legs!

While I was exploring, I met an elderly bulldog named Theo who told me how to get to Granicia’s ultimate relaxation spot, the infamous Cavern of Daydreams. He told me that the Cavern of Daydreams is forbidden to locals, but guests are always welcome to visit it. What’s so great about it, is that the insides of the Cavern look different for each visitor. One person could walk into the Cavern and see a room filled with cotton candy furniture, while a completely different person could walk in at the same time, and be transported into a room with peanut butter walls and a TV that was thousands of feet high. I guess daydreams can come true here, because all you have to do is think of something, and POOF, it pops up right in the room with you! I’ve actually moved from the water hotel to the Cavern now, which is where I’m writing this very sentence to you. I noticed a lot of cameras near the entrance to this place, but Theo the bulldog said the cameras were meant to keep an eye on visitors who tried to steal the Cavern’s magic. It’s gotten eerily quiet spending so much time by myself here, but I’m currently sitting in a hot tub filled with light purple clouds, so I can’t complain.

I think I hear someone calling my name now, so I have to go, but I hope to hear back from you soon. Even though there are no clocks on this planet, I’m pretty sure I’ve only been here for a few days. See you soon.

Your friend,
Alana

P.S. Call Hanna and tell her that the pudding here is aMazingly dElicious.
