As a film and media student, I love films and as someone who hasn’t been at school for the past three weeks, I have been watching a lot of them. Now, I’m more into action and adventure but I do have time for a quick rom-com every now and again. They are, however, very predictable and just get on my nerves. ♦

Briana- I totally relate. Sometimes it’s like I can’t wait to get back to school, even if I’m in the middle of a super fun project.

Simone, I know how you feel. Sometimes we are in a group of people and friends, but we don’t relate to them, in any way possible. And that’s hard, because you feel lonely and you just need a friend. But the people you considerate your friends are not really there for you. You are more brave than me! It took me a really long time to see what is the real definition of “friend.” And it was disappointing to see that my definition of what a true friend is, wasn’t the same of them.
It’s difficult to leave a group of friends, even when they are not what you expect. As you said, are a lot of types of goodbyes. And saying goodbye to someone I always think it was my friend… It was never a easy thing to do. Really liked your diary. <3

Lilly, that is literally my life. Well, not quite yet seeing as school only just started, but I can see it coming. All that marks my days are upcoming parties, and assessments, and the days I work. And when they’re over, all that’ll be left is being excited for the holidays before the process starts all over again. Is life meant to be this boring?

And Simone, you’re really brave.

Britney–it’s really great to see how positive your post is. I always look forward to reading your entries, even if you’ve been having a hard time–no matter what, the writing is awesome, and I get to see a perspective that is so important, but rarely seen.

Simone, cutting the people off in your life that don’t especially bring you down, but don’t give you anything, is so hard and tbh pretty brave. I wish I had done it in high school, but now that I have just left I realised that I only really have about seven or eight people who I would consider really good friends and I wish I’d stuck with them instead of trying to be friends with everybody.

Alyson, I love your entry this week, that sounds like such a cool class! Language barriers can be a pain but the extra effort that you have to put in to start with is always recouped, in my experience.

Lilly, that’s way too relatable. I feel like I’m stuck in a terrible rutine, and all my friends have moved away. I can’t wait to get out of this town!
