I’m literally counting down the days until I can actually get a proper night’s sleep instead of staying up all night doing homework. In the last week of December, I’ll put together all of my pictures and a few short video clips from the year in a four-minute video. It takes a while but I always love the end result.

Now that it’s December, I can sing festive tunes as loudly as I can without having to worry about pre-Christmas judgment. I have to apologize: until Christmas, all of my entries are probably going to be about…Christmas. That’s the only thing on my mind. At this time of year, tradition becomes apparent. I’ve read the same book every year since I was about seven—it’s called The Christmas Mystery, and it honestly never gets old or ceases to surprise me. I’ve also had the same Advent calendar for years, and my mother (or “Santa”) puts little bits and bobs in it as presents. Now that I earn some money, I can actually buy gifts for my parents without it feeling pointless because its ultimately their money. This weekend I’m going away with my parents—more ranting about Christmas next week. ♦
