Yo! C’est moi, Amy Rose, your humble “teaching you how to do makeup in a way that isn’t much harder than fingerpainting” correspondent! Today, I’m acknowledging the fact that makeup can be tough not only technique-wise, but also budget-wise, but also saying FORGET THAT NOISE, as it doesn’t have to be either. Check out this artillery of drugstore products, which handily prove that you can look decidedly foxy as sin on a minimum-wage telemarketer’s salary—and I should know, since that was one of my many jobs as a teenager. I was very bad at it, but I looked pretty OK with my headset on. These maquillages are why!

  • Revlon Powder Blush in Sandalwood Beige ($13, Amazon)
  • NYX Cosmetics Eyebrow Cake Powder in Blonde ($6, NYX Cosmetics)
