i saw Boyhood yesterday (am still reeling from it!! so awe-inspiring) and this reminds me a lot of the scene where Mason asks his dad “is there magic in the world?”

Is that movie good? My uncle wanted me to review it for him and I wasn’t sure if I should or not.

you have to see it!!!! everyone in the world needs to see Boyhood. probably the most emotional movie experience of my life just because it felt so real and so personal. honestly it feels personal to everyone who sees it because it captures the way life and aging and strife makes us all feel. so perfect.

This is so lovely!! I especially love the part about little worlds in the cracks in sidewalks. I always think about the moss and the little plants managing to live in teeny tiny cracks in the middle sidewalks! Little green islands in a sea of cement. It’s so cool it’s just a teeny tiny little world!! It’s literally their home and their life. It’s so magical! And as well as moss and plants there are probably lots and lots of bugs and it is so wonderful and magical to think that there is so much life in such a tiny place!
