Recently, I’ve been thinking a lot about the concept of escaping your hometown, and I decided to see what happened when I escaped inside the depths of a suburb instead. I found the following eerie and fascinating places, where the symmetry is almost too perfect, the streets are still and silent, and the wide open spaces can make a person feel totally insignificant.
