Try again — it should work now.
yep! thank you
Scully! <3 <3 <3
YES! I love seeing all the Rookie readers as people, not just little commenters on a website.
This should be titled “126 Photos I Want To Be In”
The daria and jane in 107 is me and my friend. I’m daria! Also, off topic but are there and DC rookies here? I’m going to DC this winter and need cool places to visit!
I lost it at Llama Del Ray.
I’m the pikachu! (#29) ! :D
MIA WALLACE! cheers to this awesome eye candy!
#72 :) we won second place in our school’s costume contest. We won five dollars worth of fruit. well atleast everyone knows who we are now, even if we’ll never be viewed as two separate people again..
AH THEY’RE ALL SO GOOD!!!
That’s me at 10!! Yay! Everyone looks so great!! I loved the beatles fangirls, def gonna do that one year :)

#114 hottie !!!! hahahahahaha (L)
These are all such awesome costumes! This is amazing and I really regret not submitting my pic. I was Mr. Ratburn btw.
I was also Arthur at one point. AND I was going to be a personification of Rookie Mag but I was too broke to actually buy anything to make the costume.
SUCH A GREAT GALLERY PLEASE DO MORE READER PHOTO SETS!! THEY ARE ALWAYS JUST SO GREAT!! :D
ahh julie and i were shocked that our photo was on the home page today !! tbh i squealed a little bit. yay rookie y’all the best.

They’re all so great! I wish halloween was as big in Australia as it is in the US! :(
Ahhh thanks for putting this up! This is awesome. My twin and I are the Grady twins in #71. :)
Fun fact: we found out that we didn’t have the white knee socks the night before Halloween but we improvised and found long socks from our dad’s closet!
So mad at myself for not getting mine in on time! I made a super realistic No Face (from Spirited Away) costume.
Hahah OMG! the Beatles fangirls, the Wes Anderson references, The Shining twins, Liv Tyler in Empire Records, Penny Lane… and especially Tavi as Garth were all so very witty! I LOVE HALLOWEEN! : ) I leave you mine:
KOALA’S AREN’T BEARS!!!!!!!!!!! Haha other than that love this so much :) getting lots of inspo for next year!
I don’t celebrate Halloween but these costumes are absolutely fantastic! The Beatles fan girls were so authentic and I loved the Suzy bishop costumes. I could help but show everyone this photo-set, u guys are so creative, I really annoys me when girls just wear a leotard and animal ears- boring!!
so glad to see a fellow rookie from Jakarta! amazing annie hall outfit :-)
Hahahaha #61 The raisin ones I DIED OF LAUGHTER! Hahaha it was just brilliant after all these ingenius super pretty character costumes, and then 2 girls in raisin costumes… ahahaha
the STAR TREK ONES THOUGH?? so awesome.
me n my moon baby (#76) made it–yipee!!
I love all the slide shows on Rookie but there’s one thing about the format that I find annoying: if the photo is in portrait form, then I can’t have both the caption at the bottom AND the next button onscreen at the same time, so I kind of have to wiggle each one quickly up and down (I’m a fast reader …). It’s especially annoying if it’s a photoset where SOME of the photos have comments at the bottom but not all of them, so I’m doing this dizzy-making screen-wiggle on every picture just in case and half the time it’s for no reason. If this is just to do with my browser (Safari Version 5.0.6) then that’s OK but if it’s an everyone problem then maybe you might be able to think about changing it?
We would love to change it and plan to as soon as we have the resources to do so!
Hurrah thanks! I hope I don’t come across as a whiner because I do LOVE the slideshows :)
Yay! 114! Only male in the gallery! :D
Aww this is great! I’m so sad I forgot to send my costumes in :( I was Audrey Horne for actual Halloween and Carrie a few days earlier. Also the grapes are hilarious
Glad to see no controversial costumes! These are so great.
my favorites were the beatles fangirls, the blue girl from the uk (it didn’t say what she was) and the moonrise kingdom girl.
I believe she was the Corpse Bride. :-)
#74 Is really interesting, and unconventional. Love the big hair. Don’t quite understand what’s on her head though…? Is that a gold sailor’s cap?
So many good costumes! Hooray everybody!
LLAMA DEL REY! #31!!!!!
if i saw you on a street i will kneel and wosrhip you ~~ *ooo*
Is Hannah/number 65 still around? I’m from Herts and don’t know any other Rookies.
