Friday Playlist: Go Loopy

Songs that do it again and again and again and again…

There’s nothing better for celebratory partytimez than songs that ramp up the excitement and then explode into bombastic choruses that you and your friends can sing along to at your lungtops over and over. But sometimes you want something less theatrical and more hypnotic. Sometimes you want no verse, all chorus—you want to lose your place for a while. Sometimes dancing is meditation, not celebration. And then it’s the synths and beats on loops that speak to you, summoning you to the dance floor. Here are 13 songs that repeat themselves (in a good way) for your next fête or solo bedroom dance party.
