BEAUTIFUL! I ADORED NUMBER 19, IT WAS FABULOUS! I thought the drawings were also pretty amazing, and deeper than they may have looked sometimes. Great job, Cynthia and Rookie!

This speaks to me on so many levels…love the line drawings, and the whole idea of observing. I’ve felt really observant this week so it’s nice to not feel alone in that! Inspired to draw people I see out and about now.
1 and 17!! <3
These are so beautiful! Really really really (times 1000, twice) good job! :)
#13 is awesome :D
I have a question: is it allowed to use a photo by a rookie photographer in ways like posting it on your blog as part of a moodboard if you give them credit?
In general, as long as you’re giving credit & not making $, people don’t mind…but it’s still a good idea to ask the individual photographer.
The text in the first one was absolutely gorgeous. <3
I love these so much!! They have so much energy and life.
Thank you everyone, I’ve never had access to such a response to my work and it has really touched me deeply, I’m not sure what more to say I’m overwhelmed by all your kind words.
Thank you Rookie for being such amazing trailblazers and so inspiring to work for.
P.S: The people photographed are family and friends, and the places from all over, and yes that is the incredible Hagia Sofia in Turkey!
Wow this is absolutely stunning. I loved the combination of drawings and photography. Definitely one of my favourite posts!
Complex and beautiful <3

love this, so unique and creative!! :)
Why i can’t draw/take pictures like this!?
Number 11 reminded me of the “Feed the Birds” song from Mary Poppins! They’re all beautiful by the way. :)
Yes!
I love the entire photo album but I love number 13 the most! :)
You know when you listen to a really great song (or are with your friends and are so purely happy? Or skiing into a sunset?) and your heart kind of hurts, but in a really good way? Like kinda pangs? This is how these pictues make me feel.

i just can’t choose a favourite photo because all of them are amazing, this is really beautiful.
the 13th one is amazing! the rest are equally beautiful.
Ahhh!!! These photos reminded me of my trip to Turkey. The day I went to the Hagia Sophia it was sweltering hot but we went inside it was dark and cool and everyone was speaking in hushed voices – truly magical.
Cynthia you’re a goddess!
