A road-trip photo diary.
These pictures were taken on an excursion through northern Argentina with five of my friends.
A field of wild horses and cows in Jujuy Province.
The Lamas family farm in the tiny town of Hornaditas. The family invites people to stay with them in their home, go on hikes, cook with them, and work on the farm.
In Hornaditas, rock paintings from circa 950-1600 A.D.
Driving through clouds in Jujuy.
Salinas Grandes (salt flats) in Jujuy.
Wow, these photos look like they belong in national geographic or something. The cactus in number 4 is unbelievable, and number 7 is an incredible photo. Love it.
These are such beautiful photos :) On a totally unrelated note today’s back round is great!

GO ARGENTINA – the last one is particulary beautiful
after trips to third world places you learn to look and love the smaller things in life and notice how fortunate you are for everything you are given but yet realize how far apart we are.
-im new btw:)
this is a nice thought, but I just wanted to point out that Argentina is hardly the ‘third world’: it’s actually ranked “very high” on the Human Development Index, and has the third largest economy in Latin America…
these are incredibly stunning. sandy, you have such an eye. I feel like I’m watching a hyper-realistic (but also poetic) film.
