  • kati April 28th, 2013 4:41 PM

i know some girls suffer a ton with their period. But i would love it if you guys showed the other side too. I love having my period, is a naatural way for woman to cleanse their body and their spirit, to have some time to reflect about their lives. I think is beautiful and everybody thinks i’m insane.
It just really bugs me that society tells us that it’s a curse and a burden when it’s not necessarily like that. If we thought about it in another way, if little girls were told that is a beautiful thing i think it would be different (for example, i’m latina so when i got my first period my dad got me flowers and we celebrated in a restaurant). Let’s not forget that if you hate your period and get angry at it, your uterus gets all tight and it hurts more. I’m not saying that you are wrong to hate it, i’m just saying that there should be a choice. (sorry for my english c:)

    • Ally_O April 28th, 2013 5:33 PM

As much as I wish I could, I can’t think of agonizing pain and discomfort as beautiful.

      • lydiamerida April 29th, 2013 6:12 AM

yeah, some people definitely have it better than others, and they shouldn’t really be telling people to be happy about getting super moody and feeling like you’re being punched in the stomach. repeatedly.

  • Bridget April 28th, 2013 5:52 PM

I love it!! I don’t know how anyone survived without tampons. I read somewhere the ancient romans made tampons with sticks and rags…. sound really gross and painful. Thank GOD we live in these modern times.

  • TessAnnesley April 28th, 2013 7:59 PM

  • la fee clochette April 28th, 2013 8:02 PM
