So beautiful! The last few photos kind of remind me of Moonrise Kingdom somehow. :)
Love 4, 5, 6, and 8 <3
That last photo reminded me of this book I read on my holiday (yknow, holiday reading and all that..)
'Stikky Night Skies'-sounds weird but trust me, I know loads of stuff about stars now!
summer in a nutshell. beautiful!
Amazing pictures!! So lovely, I can only wish that I could capture photos like yours!
I seriously LOVE THESE! You guys seriously need to do articles on how to take good pictures/which cameras to use etc
I’ve been dying to get into photography but I’m not sure how!
The hair is amazing and whoever did the pictures is just grand.
Wow #8 is SOOO COOL
now my life seems so ugly. Damn you and your talent Olivia.
<3
Dangit that starry sky in no.13 oh God this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen *breathless*
I want it transplanted to my brain
These are marvelous!!! What kind of camera do you use? And, how do you take photographs of the night sky? No matter what I do mine never seem to come out right!
i used a polaroid spectra camera and also the canon 5d mark ii for these ones! my night sky picture was taken with a very wide aperture and a long exposure. thanks so much!
Thanks for the help! Your photos are always superb!!!
ALL SO PERFECT
yessssss! this is exactly what i would call the magical hour. omg nostalgia <3
Olivia is amazing.
Agreed.

I have to say, I love all of these. I can’t single any out, otherwise I’d feel bad for the others.
#3, #6, and #11….. BE STILL MY HEART
These are magical.
I JUST came back from Portland. These are making me miss that place so much more.
Hi, I absolutely love this shoot by the way!
HELP!
Off topic: On my blog I’ve been getting traffic sources from this dodgy porn site and I don’t know why as I have never been on the site before.
Is it just a spam link or something?
And is there a way I can stop the website from accessing my blog? Because my blog doesn’t have anything to do with that sort of thing and I don’t want it to be referenced or linked with it really :S
Thank you so much for any help/advice in advance :)
these are absolutely gorgeous. i’d really like if rookie could do an article teaching rookie readers how to achieve that dream-like quality in photos as seen above. I’d really appreciate it if it was a digital photography tutorial because film photography (to me at least) is much easier. anyone else agree? thank you!!
These are entirely stunning Olivia! How do you get the almost grainy look in some of these images? (not the polaroids) is it something that you do deliberately or just an effect the camera that you use has on them? Thanks x
hey gracie! that’s my dog’s name! and my middle name! and my sister’s middle name! in photo #8 it is achieved by a high ISO but in the others it is done in post! thanks so much grrl.
Oh these pictures are so Moonrise Kingdom-esque… I’m missing summer already!
#5 and #11 are PERFECTION!
Great photos, very magical.
This was lovely, especially number 13!

These photos are darn awesome, like screenshots from an old trippy summermovie. So dreamy.
4, 6, 8, 9 and 13 – WOW! Brilliant.
#7 & #11 are like beautiful Old Masters’ portraits.
This is a gorgeous shoot.
And I am going to shamelessly use it to promote my blog.
Daisies.. Lovely!!!!!
#5 uh AMAZING
These all look fantastic- very magical!
Where you using a film or digital camera for that picture of the stars? How long was the exposure? Just curious.

The filmy effect is SO nice!!!
