Friday Playlist: Before & After

Look who pulled a switcheroo.

Whether they go from indie to pop, rock to folk, bad to good (or vice versa!), musicians are bound to mix things up over the course of their career. Here are 10 artists who have transformed their sound and, in some cases, their image, leaving us to wonder, “Wait, is that Lady Gaga holding a roll of toilet paper?” (Yes, it is.)

    This is great! Can’t believe how much Nelly Furtado’s sound has changed :O

    Another one I would add would be Avril Lavigne – something from her first album, like “Losing My Grip”, which is all angsty grunge, is worlds away from “Girlfriend”, which is extreme bubblegum pop
