Wow, the colors in #2 are gorgeous. I didn’t realize anything like that still existed in Vegas.
#5 is dreamy, very Virgin Suicides.

These are soooo beautiful! Aah!
Polaroids are really awesome, but this photo set really captures the reality and grittiness of Vegas. It’s dreamy with a dash of raw edge like Sofia Coppola’s Somewhere.

I have always wanted a Polaroid camera! They are gorge shots too! Wish I could take good photographs :(
awww eee Im so excited my photos are on here!
Is the title of this post taken from a Girls album? Because it totally goes perfectly with the vibes of that band, and that’s one of their album titles. I saw them in San Francisco and they put flowers on this awesomely gritty stage– they’re kind of amazing, and these photos spectacularly mimic their mix of roughness and sacredness-ish-nish.
yes!
That’s so weird– polaroids always remind me of them, for some reason. I found an old polaroid camera of my mom’s with film from the eighties, and the photos come out all pink and warped and otherworldly, like the whole world has fallen asleep into some type of teenage dream– which is totally Girls, right? Their concert was like passing into another state of being, since I’d listened to their songs so much that they’d sort of become anthemic. And the flowers added to the whole thing , and then this girl threw her underwear up on stage in a Virgin Suicides-esque desire type thing for Chris Owens. It was beyond surreal. Anyway, really cool post– I’ve never met anyone else who listened to Girls before.
